After achieving superstar status playing for John Wooden's UCLA Bruins in the '70s and winning three straight College Player of the Year awards, Bill Walton was destined to become an NBA legend. As the NBA's No. 1 draft pick of the Portland Trail Blazers in 1974, he went on to lead the team to its only NBA title (1976-77), helping spark Blazermania. After helping defeat Philadelphia in the NBA Finals, the big redhead was named Finals MVP. A year later, Walton was again in vintage form – when he was healthy – as the Blazers steamrolled through their first 60 games with a 50-10 record. In his first and only NBA All-Star Game appearance (he was selected in '77 but sidelined by injury), Walton tallied 15 points and 10 rebounds. Despite a left-foot injury that kept him from playing a full season, Walton was named the NBA MVP. Walton eventually won another championship, this time with the Boston Celtics in 1996. To Portland fans, however, he was always a Blazer, and in the team’s 20th anniversary season (1989), his signature No. 32 jersey was retired. He was elected to the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 1993, and in 1996 was named one of the NBA’s 50 Greatest Players. Salute Walton with this beautifully designed and framed NBA Retired Jersey Numbers Collection piece. The keepsake showcases Walton in action during his days in Portland along with 6'' replica jersey numbers of his uniform No. 32 with the Trail Blazers. This limited edition piece (100), which has an overall size of 21'' wide x 16'' high, weighs 6 lbs and is professionally framed and features high quality black molding.
